Chongqing - The first all-English international broadcast program in Chongqing, the 229th special episode of "Let's Meet," titled “Inside Chinese Media with Creator Ola Lily”, jointly produced by the Western China International Communication Organization and Chongqing Satellite TV, will be aired on both domestic and international media on July 18.
Ola Lily is a British content creator who is active across multiple social media platforms. A frequent traveler, she uses her camera to document journeys around the world, explore diverse cultures, experience urban life in different cities, and share everyday moments from the road. Through authentic, engaging original content, she captures cultural exchange and interaction, offering global audiences a richer, more diverse view of the world.



Global travel creator Ola Lily’s journey through China brought her to Chongqing. Invited to visit the Western China International Communication Organization, she toured the office under the guidance of staff members and learned how a Chinese media organization operates on a daily basis. From story planning and content production to distribution across multiple platforms, the visit offered a closer look at the full process of turning an idea into a finished media product. It also allowed overseas audiences to understand how media professionals work behind the scenes. In this episode, follow Lily as she explores the day-to-day operations of a Chinese media organization.






After touring the Western China International Communication Organization, Ola Lily sat down for an interview with foreign anchor Alex. She shared her first impressions of a Chinese media organization and reflected on the processes of content planning, scriptwriting, video editing, and multiplatform distribution. She also discussed how artificial intelligence is reshaping content creation.
During the interview, Lily spoke about how she first became interested in Chongqing and how her personal experiences in China. From initially underestimating the city to discovering its combination of modern urban landscapes and natural scenery, she came to see Chongqing as far more vibrant, diverse, and appealing than she had imagined.
