Chongqing - The first all-English international broadcast program in Chongqing, the 244th episode of "Let's Meet," titled “Summer Dynamism Innovation for the Future”, jointly produced by the WCICO and Chongqing Satellite TV, will be broadcast globally on September 9.
In April this year, Chongqing launched the overseas media exchange program “Experience Chongqing · Seasonal Splendors”, structured around four seasonal chapters—spring, summer, autumn and winter—and inviting global media representatives and international guests to explore the latest achievements in building a modern Chongqing.
This summer, the “Summer Dynamism Innovation for the Future” program officially began. Overseas content creators and Latin American think-tank experts experienced Chongqing’s natural and cultural appeal, as well as its strength in technological innovation and industry, through intelligent driving tours, field visits and in-depth dialogues.
During the program, think-tank experts from several Latin American countries visited Chongqing, going inside technology companies and manufacturing facilities to explore what is driving this major industrial city forward—from robotics and smart healthcare to new energy vehicles and green energy. What did they discover about Chongqing's accelerating pace of innovation? In this episode, let’s follow in their footsteps and explore this city of smart innovation.
Experiencing a city is about more than visiting companies and factories. Eleven overseas content creators from different countries drove Chongqing-made new energy vehicles on an eight-day intelligent driving journey. From the bustling city to its mountains and rivers, and from high-tech experiences to everyday culture, they captured a more dynamic, diverse and vivid Chongqing through their lenses.
On August 21, Latin American think-tank experts and overseas content creators joined representatives from government departments, social science institutions and technology companies at a sharing session in Liangjiang New Area. Drawing on what they had seen and experienced in Chongqing, they exchanged views on technological innovation, smart manufacturing, urban development and international cooperation.
