The People of Dazu | Alex in the City

By GAOWEI ZHANGALEX REPORTERFYXUANQI YUAN|Apr 10,2022

In this episode of Alex in the City, called "The People Of Dazu," I share my experience of discovering another unique district of Chongqing. Dazu District is part of the UNESCO World Heritage location. So what goes on in this district besides the AAAAA tourist sites? Let's find out as we go on this adventure together.

Dazu District attaches great importance to the protection, inheritance, and development of Dazu Rock Carvings. During this episode, I wanted to experience the everyday life of local Chinese families. I also was curious about what Chinese families in this district do daily. I was pleasantly surprised to see many families enjoy the weather, food, and laid-back lifestyle. I looked for answers and discovered some fantastic things. Click on the video and join our adventure.

Editor's Note

My name is Alex, and I have recently moved to Chongqing, China. I was born in Canada, a vast country with a population similar to the megacity of Chongqing, and I have always been interested in China. Some people might think that a vlogger is just a person talking about themselves, and maybe that's how it was many years ago, but some vloggers create educational content, and others talk about their political views or experiences. I try to inspire and motivate people to change their perceptions of China.

I will not only show you China, but I will show you my accomplishments and my struggles. Join me as we explore China together.
