Newlyweds crossed the brazier, bowed to Heaven and Earth, prayed to the Goddess for blessings and swapped tokens. Additionally, the event attracted many spectators to stop and watch.

At 8 o’clock on the evening of November 24, newlywed bowed their heads toward the direction of the Goddess. Additionally, they decorated the Jiangshan Hongye Hotel with the festive and characteristic atmosphere. The newlywed vowed to be faithful to their lovers and marriages as well as make a pledge of their eternal love. Afterward, with the familiar Wushan folk songs, the traditional wedding ceremony of Wushan kicked off.

On November 25, the newlywed came to Qingshi Flavor Street hand in hand to bow and appreciate the Goddess. After swapping tokens, the newlywed came to the prayer wall to tie the bell and the heart lock together. Moreover, the host announced the successful ceremony of the Witness.

“I am here not only to see the traditional folk wedding of Wushan. However, I also appreciate red leaves all over the mountains and even enjoy the famous Wushan Roast Fish.” Zhu Yuanli, from Rizhao City, Shandong Province, said with excitement that he learned from the newspaper in October about the particularly gorgeous red leaves of Wushan.
