This year's MPT Expo theme is "Museums in the new era: innovation, development, and inheritance," with 645 companies and museums participating with a total area of 60000 square meters. The exhibition hall is divided into four parts: the thematic exhibition area, museum exhibition area, cultural and museum-related enterprises exhibition area, and cultural and museum-related public welfare exhibition area. This exhibition features 13 theme sections that showcase the new contents of Chinese museums and collections over the past four years.
The China Museums Association (CMA) will hold the 2nd International Forum of Young Museum Professionals and more than 20 academic activities during the expo.
The 144-square-meter exhibition on the first floor of the Convention and Exhibition Center brings together seven "red culture" memorial halls, including the Chongqing Hongyan Revolution History Museum, the Marshal Nie Rongzhen Exhibition Hall, and Chen Duxiu's Old Residence Exhibition Hall in Jiangjin District.
With the theme of "Hongyan spirit always shines," the exhibition highlights the inheritance of "red genes" and the continuation of "red blood." Museums rely on the "red cultural" elements to develop cultural products and further promote the Hongyan spirit.
There are 14 museums on the second floor, including the Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum, the Chongqing Natural History Museum, the Dazu Stone Carving Museum, and the Three Gorges Cultural and Creative Alliance. In terms of exhibition design, Chongqing's "mountainous city" image and unique charm are highlighted through the shape of mountains on the panel. The exhibition panel has mainly green colors, which complement the meandering river on the ground. It is decorated with "Thousands of miles of the Yangtze River" from Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum to show the beauty of traditional culture.

For the first time, multi-layer casting technology is used in the archaeological blind box. Cultural relics excavated from the blind box can be worn as jewelry, which is decorative and functional. Buyers can get to know the archaeological stories and feel the Daxi civilization during the experience.
Chongqing China, Three Gorges Museum, featured low-carbon life cultural and creative products as part of the expo. All of these products are made from renewable and biodegradable materials.
