Chongqing - On Oct 14, Chongqing-Minsk Region Cultural and Tourism Online Promotion Conference was held in Window for International Exchanges of Chongqing Culture & Tourism (WICT). Dmitry Yemelyanov, Consul General of Belarus in Chongqing, Qin Dingbo, deputy director of Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, and other guests gathered on the cloud and participated in this online promotion meeting.

Consul General greeted the members who participated in this online promotion meeting and expressed his expectations for the cultural and tourism cooperation between Chongqing and Minsk.

Qin Dingbo shared three pieces of advice on further deepening the cultural and tourism cooperation between Chongqing and Minsk. The suggestions are to build an interaction mechanism and platform, deepen two-way international exchanges, and build a global brand of culture and tourism.

"I hope Chongqing and Minsk continue to carry out extensive exchanges and cooperation in the future, constantly developing new ideas, building new platforms, promoting people-to-people and cultural exchanges," added Qin.

At the event, representatives from Minsk Region and Chongqing introduced the cultural tourism resources of the two places.

Vladimir Gubarevich, deputy head of the Sports and Tourism Main Department of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee, introduced the region's tourism resources under the theme of "why Minsk Region attracts tourists."

Ala Shakhodko, head of the Culture Main Department of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee, introduced Minsk Region's cultural resources and its cultural potential.

Chongqing also highlighted eight keywords to introduce Chongqing's cultural and tourism resources in detail to the guests from the Minsk region.

At the meeting, representatives of cultural and tourism enterprises in the two places also made presentations. For example, both places exchanged views on the healthcare and hot spring industry.
