Chongqing - The districts and counties in Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality decorate the streets with a cornucopia of glorious lanterns and other dazzling lighting to celebrate the spring festival in authentic style.

On January 8, in the pedestrian street of Yangjiaping commercial district in Jiulongpo District, all kinds of Spring Festival lighting decorations made the place bright and charming. In addition to the street lights, some overpasses, slope protection, flower beds, and other areas are installed with spring lights, creating an intense festive atmosphere.

Twelve traffic hubs in Yuzhong District, such as Jiaochangkou Turntable, Daping roundabout, and Shangqing Temple roundabout, were festooned with star strings, strobe lights, character pendants, and other glowing decorations, creating fun and festive air.

Other counties and districts in Chongqing also have been installing lighting and lanterns in streets and landmarks, ready to be dressed to impress.
