Chongqing -To accelerate the construction of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor (ILSTC), the Chongqing Local Financial Supervision and Administration Bureau spearheaded the creation of the ILSTC Financial Services Consortium.
The consortium's inaugural event, the ILSTC and RCEP Cross-Border Economy and Trade Investment and Financing Cooperation Matchmaking Session, is scheduled for April 3 in Chongqing and will be broadcast live.
The ILSTC Financial Services Consortium was formed through a joint effort of local corporate banks, policy banks, and Chinese and foreign commercial banks in Chongqing, with the participation of financial institutions along ILSTC. It focuses on resolving issues like asymmetric credit information, difficulties in accessing credit from different sources, and fragmented financial services along ILSTC. The consortium aims to facilitate cross-regional industrial, trade, and investment cooperation and meet the financing demands of key projects and significant economic and trade entities along ILSTC.
The matchmaking session will leverage the consortium's customer resources and information advantages to boost business credit with financial credit. Governments, banks, and enterprises will be invited to clarify support policies for industrial development based on investment and financing demand as well as the economic and trade demand of enterprises, promote whole-chain financial products and supporting services of the industry, and create a platform for the integration of investment and financing information as well as economic and trade information.
The objective is to eliminate the obstacle of asymmetric information in cross-border trade and investment and promote the deep integration of industrial projects and financial funds. Enterprises are encouraged to join the matchmaking session online.
