The 11th Chongqing International Cultural Industry Expo (CQCIE) will be held at Chongqing International Convention & Exhibition Center (Nanping) from April 7 to 9, 2023. At the CQCIE 2023, multiple provinces, cities, and autonomous regions of China, including Guizhou, Shanxi, and Ningxia, will show their characteristic cultural tourism products, from which the audience can explore the exclusive treasures of different regions.

Guizhou Hall: Varied Mountain Landscapes 

The Guizhou Exhibition Hall will offer cultural tourism products with unique local characteristics. Themed "A Perfect Destination for Mountain Sights and Rehabilitation," the Guizhou Exhibition Hall will showcase cultural tourism enterprises and products with Guizhou characteristics to deepen the cultural tourism exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and Guizhou, manifest the cultural characteristics of Guizhou, and highlight the charm of Guizhou cultural tourism.

Guizhou designs its exhibition hall around its colorful ethnic cultures. The exhibition hall will intensively display Guizhou's competitive edges and development potential mainly from the aspects of the culture, sports, health, and tourism industries, culture-technology integration, intangible cultural heritage inheritance and innovation, and Guizhou's specialties, thus publicizing its culture and introducing its products.

Regarding the culture-technology integration zone, Guizhou Exhibition Hall will create 3D visions focusing on Guizhou's distinctive culture and quality tourism resources through VR, videos, and other technological means, as well as the interactive wall screen and ground screen inside the exhibition hall. The "Eye in the Sky" interactive zone and the Guizhou stunning scenery snap-taking zone are also built to give the audience the unique charm of Guizhou upon walking into the exhibition hall.

The intangible cultural heritage (ICH) inheritance and innovation zone will exhibit a heap of ICH cultural and creative products representing the traditional cultures of Guizhou ethnic minorities, like embroidery, "Gui Silver" and ethnic instruments, as well as creative cultural products and tourism products with Guizhou characteristics, to fully highlight the charm of the modern fashionable expressions of Guizhou's intangible cultural heritage. Visitors will also be allowed to experience ICH handwork on the spot.

Ningxia Hall: Water Scenery and Desert Landscapes

The Yellow River, the mother river of the Chinese nation, runs down turbulently from the majestic Bayan Har Mountains and gallops across deep gorges, high mountains, and plateaus before reaching Ningxia, where she is diverted northward, hugging the land of the nation in her S-shaped arm. Ningxia (officially the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region) lies sweetly in this S-shaped arm. It is the mother river that breeds and nourishes the beautiful and fertile miraculous Ningxia.

On the CQCIE 2023, the Ningxia Exhibition Hall, themed "Miraculous Ningxia, Home to Stars," will exhibit Ningxia's water scenery, desert landscape, magnificent sunset, and clean lakes along the turbulent Yellow River. It will also introduce its unique tourist resources, including the unique desert, Yellow River, and starry sky, and routes and local specialties like Chinese wolfberry and wine.

Particularly, exclusive "Ningxia jute fiber plaiting" and "gourd carving" will pose themselves in the exhibition hall. It is learned that "Ningxia jute fiber plaiting" is a typical manual workshop craft handed down from generation to generation. The weaving techniques are primitive and simple, with strong local aesthetic imprints. Highly practical and ornamental jute works will be exhibited this time, such as jute shoes, hats, bags, mats, cloth bags, belts, pouches, dolls, and wall hangings.

Shanxi Hall: Culture and Aesthetics of the Jinguo Museum

The Jinguo Museum in Quwo County, Linfen City, Shanxi Province, will bring 30 products of the "Remember the State of Jin" series and the "Elephant & Dignity" series to the site. Bird-shaped containers inspire the "Elephant & Dignity" series; the "Remember the State of Jin" series is derived from the inscriptions on the articles unearthed from the tomb of the Marquis of Jin State. Many products of the two series have participated in cultural and creative competitions inside and outside Shanxi Province multiple times and won many awards.

The Jinguo Museum combines independent and authorized development modes to explore the cultural stories behind the cultural relics. Creative means are adopted to extend cultural symbols. They are committed to constructing a series of products with cultural implications, aesthetic characteristics, and a humanistic spirit by combining the profound history and culture of the Jin State with modern aesthetics.

One of the exhibits "Beauty of Golden Tripod-Baboshangui Coffee Cup," is a blend of bronzeware and inscription elements of the Jin State. The users can enjoy the beautiful Golden Tripod, explore bronze civilization and inscription code, and uncover the mystery of the State of Jin. The work carries both cultural and aesthetic concepts, looking lively and funny.

At the CQCIE 2023, Jinguo Museum will unveil its distinctive and creative products of all varieties. It is expected to receive more visitors in the exhibition hall to discover the unique charm of the Jin culture.
