Chongqing - Recently, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs coordinated a visit for a delegation of 15 representatives from mainstream Honduran media outlets. This marked the Honduran delegation's first official visit to China since the establishment of diplomatic relations. During their stay in China, the delegation visited Chongqing from May 1st to May 3rd.

China and Honduras signed a joint communique on March 26th to establish diplomatic relations. Since then, the two countries have deepened their ties in various fields, including culture and academia.
During their visit to Chongqing, the delegation toured the Chongqing Planning Exhibition Hall, the Hongyan Revolutionary Memorial Museum, Haifu Medical Technology Co. Ltd, and the Jiangbei District Smart City Operations Management Center.

The delegation also visited Daguan Town in Nanchuan District, where they toured the Blueberry Demonstration Base, Hualv Biological Technology Co. Ltd, the Zhu Family Courtyard, and Dakoo Origin, a rural cultural tourism complex. The visit provided the delegation with insights into Chongqing's successful practices and experiences in urban planning, rural revitalization, ecological agriculture, and county governance.

The Honduran media representatives commended China's high-quality development achievements in modernization and expressed their admiration for Chongqing's efforts and accomplishments in infrastructure, rural revitalization, ecological agriculture, and county governance. They expressed their hope to strengthen friendly exchanges between Honduras and Chongqing in areas such as infrastructure, characteristic agriculture, and media cooperation.
