Chongqing - On August 1st, the team finals for the men's table tennis tournament at Chengdu FISU World University Games was held in Chengdu Gaoxin Sports Center Gymnasium.
The Chinese men's team beat the rival by 3:0 and won a gold medal in the men's team table tennis match. Reporters from iChongqing and Bridging News witnessed this very victory at the scene.
Xu Yingbin from Southwest University was the second player to play the match and beat the opponent 3-1.
This was so far the third gold medal claimed by Chongqing athletes at Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games.
Born in March 2001, Xu Yingbin is currently a class of 2024 student majoring in athletic exercise in the Department of Physical Education at Southwest University.
He won the championship in mixed doubles in the 2018 World Junior Table Tennis Championships, men's doubles in the 2019 World Junior Table Tennis Championships, and men's team in the 2019 Asian Junior & Cadet Table Tennis Championships.
