In 2021, IKAS marked its entry into Chongqing by winning the Mingyue Lake Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. Dr. Li Jie, CEO of IKAS, chose Chongqing for its vibrant business environment and growing semiconductor industry. Now, IKAS operates subsidiaries in several Chinese cities and Singapore.

IKAS strategically focuses on three core product lines: equipment intelligence, production line intelligence, and yield improvement. These solutions streamline manufacturing processes, augment chip production yields and efficiency, and realize automated intelligent manufacturing.

The company has notably implemented smart manufacturing solutions in 12-inch wafer production for major Chinese chip firms. Capitalizing on the domestic chip production boom, the company has secured investments from top-tier investors like China Fortune-Tech Capital and Sequoia Capital.

Dr. Li likened the manufacturing process to the human body, where chip manufacturing equipment serves as the "limb," materials as the "blood," industrial software as the "nervous system," and the smart manufacturing system as the "brain." This efficient smart manufacturing system coordinates instructions via reliable industrial software, optimizing production by leveraging manufacturing equipment.

IKAS's pioneering approach incorporates the ROPN bottom modeling technology and industrial AI decision-making algorithms. This fusion enables transparent chip production based on industrial big data, reducing technical barriers for enterprise management and facilitating streamlined production coordination.

The new-generation electronic information manufacturing sector is one of Chongqing's three leading industries. Dr. Li emphasized IKAS's significant role as a premier provider of smart manufacturing services, poised to seize ample opportunities in this domain.

Furthermore, the company is eyeing international expansion, with plans to initially serve clients in Southeast Asia, including the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore, in the upcoming year. Future ambitions involve extending services to European countries like the Netherlands and Belgium, strategically moving towards global product outreach.
