Chongqing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital is also known as the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. As a 3A-grade hospital (the highest of China’s three-tier grading system for public hospitals) and Chongqing’s leading traditional Chinese medicine institution, the hospital excels in integrating healthcare, education, research, and public welfare. 

The hospital operates two branches: Nanqiaosi (Jiangbei District) and Daomenkou (Yuzhong District). As of October 31, 2023, the hospital offers 44 clinical and ten medical technology departments, and it handles approximately 2.77 million outpatient visits and 80,000 inpatient discharges annually. Notably, the hospital is ranked 24th nationwide in the 2021 performance assessment of tertiary public traditional Chinese medicine hospitals, placing it in the nation’s top 5% with an A+ rating.

How to Make an Appointment

1. WeChat Appointment: 

   - Follow the official WeChat service account of Chongqing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital “重庆市中医院服务号” (ID: gh_04a0bf059e8a).

   - Select the branch and click “预约挂号” (Appointment Registration).

   - Appointments open daily at 09:00 for the 7th day ahead. Cancellation deadline: 16:00, the day before the appointment.

2. Telephone Appointment: 

   - Call 023-67068966 (Mon-Sun, 08:00-17:00; break from 12:00-14:00).

   - Book up to 7 days in advance.

3. On-Site Appointment: 

   - Visit the outpatient registration area on the first floor.

   - Booking hours: Mon-Sun, 08:00-17:00 (break from 12:00-14:00).

4. Self-Service Machines Appointment: 

   - Use in-hospital machines for booking up to 7 days in advance.

5. In-Clinic Appointment: 

   - Request a follow-up appointment during your doctor’s visit.

Check-In Instructions:

1. Self-Paying Patients: 

  - If already paid online, proceed to “Self-Check-in” within the scheduled time.

  - Use self-check-in machines in outpatient areas.

2. Special Disease Appointments: 

  - Change medical insurance attributes at first floor manual window or machines.

  - Then proceed to check in.

3. Other Appointment Types: 

  - Obtain a queue number from the manual window or machines before check-in.

Note: Unchecked patients cannot receive medical treatment.

Appointment Cancellation and No-Show Policy:

1. Cancel via the original booking method by 18:00, the day before the appointment. If you make an appointment by phone or on-site, please call the appointment number (023-67068966) at least one day before cancellation.

2. Same-day cancellations at the window before noon (morning) or 17:30 (afternoon).

3. More than three cancellations in 30 days lead to a 90-day booking suspension.

4. No-Shows marked if not visited by 17:30 on the scheduled day. Three No-Shows in 30 days result in a 60-day booking suspension.
