Born in Chongqing in 1996, Yuan Xinyue has been a standout player since being promoted to the national team by then-coach Lang Ping in 2013. She has been recognized as one of the top ten rising stars by the International Volleyball Federation and has helped the Chinese women's volleyball team secure numerous championships, including the 2015 World Cup, the 2016 Rio Olympics, the 2017 Grand Champions Cup, the 2018 Asian Games, and the 2019 World Cup.
