Chongqing -  As AIGC reshapes industries with data-driven personalized content and innovative solutions, a pivotal forum took place in Chongqing on September 12. Denodo, a global leader in data management, brought together experts to explore how data is revolutionizing the automotive and manufacturing sectors.

Angel Viña, Founder and CEO of Denodo Technologies, introduced the concept of a "data fabric," a system that provides flexible, agile, and fast access to data for all users. He emphasized the importance of data management across finance, human resources, operations, manufacturing, and supply chain management—especially as customer data becomes increasingly complex.

Denodo offers advanced capabilities for accessing and integrating data from diverse sources, including unstructured and cloud-based data. "Our data virtualization technology is more innovative than traditional methods. It aims to reduce barriers to data usage and enhance connectivity and utilization," said Guo Jie, Technical Director of Denodo Software Greater China.

In the automotive sector, data plays a critical role in shaping new business models and driving innovation. Chongqing, one of China’s largest vehicle production hubs, is at the forefront of these data-driven advancements. Modern vehicles, equipped with cameras and sensors, generate around 25 gigabytes of data per minute. "There's a massive amount of data distributed across various systems that needs to be unified through technology to support decision-making in the industry," Viña explained.

He Wei, Vice President of Global Sales and Regional VP of Denodo Software Greater China, underscored Chongqing’s Liangjiang New Area as a leading player in the new energy vehicle industry. "We see Chongqing as a potential global leader in this field and plan to expand our data innovations to other regions," he said.

As Chongqing continues to leverage data for innovation in the automotive and manufacturing sectors, it is positioning itself as a global leader in new energy vehicles and data-driven applications. The city’s forward-thinking approach ensures its place at the forefront of future technological advancements, setting the stage for continued growth and global leadership in these industries.
