Chongqing - Chongqing’s tourism once again experienced a remarkable surge during the National Day holiday. On October 7, the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development reported that the city welcomed 22.68 million domestic visits during the holiday, a 14.1% increase from last year. Tourists spent 15.4 billion yuan, marking a 15.8% year-on-year growth. This vibrant holiday season showcased Chongqing’s unique blend of cultural experiences and natural beauty, drawing both locals and visitors alike.
