Since joining Chartmetric in September 2024, Ruijingya has led the design of a groundbreaking music-scouting platform that quantifies artists' performances across social media and streaming services. This platform has earned recognitions such as the Muse Creative Awards and the New York Design Awards and has drawn high praise from industry giants, including Spotify, Sony Music, Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, Deezer, Creative Artists Agency, Believe Music, and Apple's independent artist label, Platoon.

At Chartmetric, Ruijingya also spearheaded the competitive research and design of an advertisement platform and ensured the seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionalities by rigorously testing Meta and TikTok APIs. She also designed an innovative influencer discovery platform, enabling record labels and artist managers to efficiently identify compatible influencers.
Ruijingya’s design journey began at Babyscripts in Somerville, Massachusetts, where she served as an interaction designer from 2022 to 2023. She developed user flows and interfaces for both B2B web platforms and B2C mobile applications, streamlining the monitoring of pregnancy blood pressure data for over 200,000 expectant mothers across 30 states. Ruijingya’s passion for human-centered and impact-driven design has since continued beyond her professional roles - as evidenced in her recent award-winning project: Memory Land. Memory Land is a mobile app that uses AI to help users create virtual memorial scenes to honor their loved ones. Co-founded and designed by Ruijingya, the app has won several prestigious international design awards, including the London Design Awards.

With a unique blend of creativity, technical expertise, and a commitment to user-centered design, Ruijingya Tang is shaping the future of product design. She aspires to make the music and entertainment industries more accessible through design. “Design may not solve everything, but it’s the answer to some parts of everything. That’s enough of a starting point to make the world a better place,” Ruijingya says, reflecting her ambitious vision.
