Chongqing" Cultural Tourism Promotion Conference will be grandly held on June 11, 2025, from 17:00 to 18:20 at the main stage of Ngee Ann City, Orchard Road in Singapore. Global travel platform Skyscanner recently released its annual travel trend report, ranking Chongqing as the third most popular travel destination for Singaporeans in 2025. What unique appeal does this "8D magical city" hold? At the event, renowned Singaporean actor Collin Chee (known for "War Roses" and "Dr Justice I") will team up with WEBUY TRAVEL tour leader Huang Zexi to share their personal experiences and feelings from their trip to Chongqing. Tiffany Gong, a talented host and graduate of Nanyang Technological University, will connect the entire event with her bilingual charm.
The opening will be spectacular! National First-Class Artist Liu Guangyu will perform an erhu solo of "Horse Racing", while a Miao dance titled "Miao Village Awaits You" will bring rich ethnic flavor to kick off the event. Following that, a guqin solo "Wine Madness" and other traditional music performances will take you through a thousand years, allowing you to feel the cultural heritage of the Bayu region.

Concurrent with the event is the "Mountain City Crafts" Bayu Intangible Cultural Heritage Creative Market, which can be described as a mobile cultural museum. National-level intangible cultural heritage inheritors like Liu Nengfeng of Dazu Rock Carvings and Ma Linqin of Rongchang Grass Linen will demonstrate traditional crafts such as carving and weaving on-site, allowing the audience to experience intangible cultural heritage creation firsthand. The static exhibition will feature 30 Han Dynasty image brick rubbings and 7 replicas from the Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum, as well as 10 intangible cultural heritage treasures such as Shanshen lacquerware and Rongchang folding fans. Additionally, the "Tea for Harmony Yaji" will offer tastings of Yongchuan Xiuya Tea, Wuxi Laoying Tea, Banan Yinzhen Tea, Wulong Xiannv Black Tea, Wansheng Heishan Black Tea, Pengshui White Tea, and Rongchang Green Tea. Guests will immerse themselves in the leisurely elegance of Bayu life, accompanied by the refined sounds of guqin music and the natural melodies of Miao songs.
