Chongqing — The 2025 “Love Chongqing · Live Season” Launch Ceremony and “Mountain City Glow” Festival opened this week at Diamond Plaza in Jiangbeizui, presenting a lively celebration of Chongqing’s culture, cuisine, and urban energy.

Organized by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce, the event officially released the “Everything Live · Joy Together” Mountain City Roaming Plan, unveiling five themed consumption routes — “Jiangbei’s Fashion and Trend Tour”, “Yuzhong’s Urban Heart Roaming Tour”, “Shapingba’s Youthful Trend Play Tour”, “Dazu’s Craftsmanship Flavor Tour”, and “Wulong’s Scenic and Gourmet Tour”.

Each route serves as a vivid “city postcard,” inviting residents and visitors to enjoy an immersive journey where mountains meet rivers, and urban lights blend with everyday life.

The Jiangbei “Fashion and Trend Tour” takes visitors through the district’s main shopping streets, cultural hubs, and scenic riverside areas, featuring stops like Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street, Beicang Cultural and Creative Park, and Hong’en Temple Park.

The Yuzhong “Urban Heart Roaming Tour” guides visitors through Shancheng Alley (featuring wartime air-raid shelters), Luzu Temple commercial district, Jiefangbei Central Business District, Tiantai 131 rooftop, Daijia Alley (with its cliffside walkway and riverside promenade), and Raffles City Chongqing’s Cloud Paradise.

The Shapingba “Youthful Trend Play Tour” offers a mix of cultural, recreational, and scenic experiences. Highlights include the SISU Little Railway, Ciqikou Ancient Town, and Chongqing 1949 Grand Theatre, along with shopping and forest park areas across the Shapingba District.

The Dazu “Craftsmanship Flavor Tour” showcases local heritage and cuisine, including the UNESCO-listed Dazu Rock Carvings, Changzhou Ancient Town, Dazu Impression Commercial Street, and cultural parks, homestays, and night markets.

The Wulong “Scenic and Gourmet Tour” includes Jingzhu Village in Fairy Mountain Resort, Fairy Mountain Prairie, the Three Natural Bridges, Fairy Street (featuring local delicacies), the Impression Wulong live-action performance with traditional river-boat chants, Canggou Outdoor Town, Xiannan Pasture Trail, and Erlong Skywalk in Jielong.
