Chongqing - Recently, Dan Horia Maxim, the Romanian Ambassador to China, visited Chongqing and gave an exclusive interview to iChongqing. This year marks the 77th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Romania. The Ambassador spoke highly of China’s important role as a permanent member of the UN Security Council and the world’s second-largest economy. He also stated that, as a member of the European Union, Romania supports the establishment of mutually beneficial relations between China and Europe, and that the two sides can engage in meaningful cooperation in areas such as climate change, biodiversity, economic collaboration, and people-to-people exchanges.
