Chongqing-The first all-English international broadcast program in Chongqing, the 211th episode of "Let's Meet," titled “Vloggers in Chongqing: Even Latin American influencers are getting excited about Chongqing”, jointly produced by the Western China International Communication Organization and Chongqing Satellite TV, will be aired on both domestic and international media on May 16.

WestCOL, whose real name is Luis Fernando Villa Álvarez, is from Medellín, Colombia. He’s one of the most influential streamers in Latin America. Known for his high-energy interactions and real-time reactions, he connects strongly with young audiences. For his fans, his camera doesn’t just record a trip—it feels like a live global experience. In this episode, he brings his lens to Chongqing. From South America to western China, from Latin streets to the city lights of Chongqing, let’s follow WestCOL’s lens and witness his mountain city journey together.

In Chongqing, WestCOL stepped into the local food scene, watched traditional culinary demonstrations, visited the “Yuwe 360 Bowls” delicious food market, and tried local chilies. He also observed the process of making tofu and rice pudding by hand, witnessed the chef carving a tofu into a rose, and saw a master using a green onion to do calligraphy. WestCOL’s on‑site reactions and interactions vividly demonstrated the unique flavor impact of Chongqing’s cuisine.

As night fell, WestCOL came to the bank of the Yangtze River and immersed himself in the city's night view and drone light show. When the drone fleet rose into the sky and formed the pattern of Chongqing's famous monorail, WestCOL looked up at the night sky with an expression of amazement. He said that on his first day in Chongqing, he had already experienced so many things he had never encountered before — this drone show left him deeply astonished.

El High, also from Colombia, is a music producer, executive producer, and a close collaborator of WestCOL. Unlike WestCOL’s live, high-energy style, El High focuses more on rhythm, sound, and emotion. He experiences a city differently—through its street sounds, its people, and its lights. He listens for the rhythm hidden in everyday life. In this episode, let’s follow El High’s perspective and feel the mountain city beat he captures.

WestCOL captures Chongqing in real time through his livestreams, while El High experiences it through music. This time in Chongqing, what kind of beat will El High hear? And if this city became a beat track—what would it sound like? In this episode, let’s hear El High’s answer.

This Chongqing journey didn't just stay in the cameras of WestCOL and El High. It soon appeared on the screens of more Latin American netizens. One netizen said, “Lovely Chinese culture and cuisine, I loved it. Thank you, West, for the streaming.” In addition, another comment read: “A great experience to live through.”
