Chongqing- The first all-English international broadcast program in Chongqing, the 216th episode of "Let's Meet," titled “Follow the Filipino Vloggers to Unlock Different Sides of Chongqing”, jointly produced by the Western China International Communication Organization and Chongqing Satellite TV, will be aired on both domestic and international media on June 6.

With the new direct flights between Chongqing and Manila, today’s Vloggers in Chongqing brings a group of popular content creators from the Philippines to Chongqing for the first time as a team. How will they experience this mountain city? Will they be amazed at every turn, or constantly snapping photos? Dazzled by its layered streets, or charmed by its bustling local life? Today, we’ll follow their lenses to explore a high-energy, fun, and picture-perfect Chongqing.

Top Filipino Influencers Came to Chongqing

These six vloggers visiting Chongqing all have huge followings in the Philippines and across Southeast Asia. They’re not only stars in front of the camera, but they’re also creators who tell travel stories in their own unique ways.

Richard Juan is a Filipino-Chinese actor, host, and entrepreneur, active across TV, film, and digital platforms.

Dasuri Choi is a Korean dancer and content creator based in the Philippines, skilled in dance, expression, and variety-show flair.

Evan Tan is a comedy and lifestyle creator known to young audiences, turning unexpected travel moments into laughs.

L.A. Aguinaldo is a Filipino fashion and lifestyle influencer, great at capturing city vibes and perfect photo moments.

Een Mercado is a cosplayer, gamer, and content creator. For her, Chongqing’s layered cityscape is like a real-life adventure map.

Janina Manipol excels at capturing travel moments and emotions on camera, giving the city a deeper narrative.

Jiulongpo: First Impressions of “Bayu Flavor”

With influencers who each have millions of followers, they clearly won’t just act like typical tourists. Their first stop is Jiulongpo district, where they experience the warmth and character of Chongqing’s Bayu culture. At Chongqing Zoo, they get up close with adorable giant pandas and red pandas, whipping out their phones to capture every cute moment. Next, they head to the Chongqing Banquet of Ba Kingdom, where they dress in traditional Chinese outfits for photo ops. A performance blending Sichuan opera face-changing, kung fu tea art, and traditional dance leaves them completely captivated.

Fengjie: Breathtaking Landscapes

After leaving the central districts behind, the influencers head east to Fengjie. Outside the car window, tall buildings gradually fade into rolling mountain silhouettes. The Yangtze River winds through the canyon like a ribbon. When they stand on the Qutang Gorge Observation Deck, everything suddenly opens up: one of the most iconic stretches of the Yangtze River Three Gorges, and the very scenery behind the 10-yuan bill. Then, they climb to the top of the Three Gorges. At an altitude of 1,388 meters, they look down on the roaring Yangtze below, while distant mountains rise like waves—truly magnificent and unforgettable.

Nanbin Road: Experience Chongqing’s Motorcycle Shoot

Chongqing surprises the Filipino Vloggers all day long. But at night, the city switches to a whole new mode: lights come alive, the river breeze rolls in, and Chongqing’s nightlife—scenes, streets, and young people’s after-dark fun—turn the vibe up to the max.

They head to Nanbin Road to experience Chongqing’s famous “Visa on arrival in Chongqing”: motorcycle photo shoot services. Dressed in cool, stylish outfits, they hop on motorcycles and cruise through the night. A photographer follows closely, while the river wind whips their hair into motion and neon lights trail behind them like colorful lines.

Viewers: “Next stop—Chongqing!”

Night in Chongqing doesn’t just keep the influencers filming nonstop—it quickly pulls viewers on the other side of the screen into the trip too. After the creators share the city’s night scenes, food, scenery, and their real-time reactions on social media, the comments section starts buzzing. For them, this Chongqing trip is more than just a vacation; they bring Chongqing to overseas social feeds and onto the screens of more young people. Total views surpass 30 million, with nearly one million interactions. More and more people, seeing Chongqing through these Filipino vloggers, have started adding Chongqing to their own “next trip” lists.

"Let's Meet" airs every Wednesday and Saturday at 6 PM on Chongqing Satellite TV. It is also simultaneously released on the Let's Meet official WeChat Channels, Bridging News app, iChongqing website, Facebook and YouTube channels, WCICO's global communication matrix platform, and Chongqing Satellite TV's new media matrix.
