Chongqing - More than 200 motorcycles from Chongqing-based brand ZXMOTO are being shipped to the European market, marking the brand’s first bulk export of fully assembled motorcycles to the region, Chongqing Customs said on June 25.

The batch cleared customs at Chongqing Guoyuan Port and recently left Shanghai by sea for Poland. It was ZXMOTO’s first export declaration there, with Chongqing Port Customs guiding multimodal transport procedures to streamline clearance.

“Export declaration at Guoyuan Port is very convenient, especially under the river-sea intermodal transport mode, which helps our motorcycles enter global markets more efficiently,” said Huang Qin, head of the brand's foreign trade department.

European orders for ZXMOTO motorcycles have grown rapidly. In addition to the Poland-bound shipment, another 330 motorcycles destined for Spain have already been dispatched from Chongqing Guoyuan Port. They are expected to be loaded onto a ship by the end of this month.

The rising European demand follows ZXMOTO’s recent breakthrough in international motorcycle racing. Founded only two years ago, the brand gained attention in the 2026 WorldSSP season of the World Superbike Championship (WSBK), where its self-developed 820RR won six rounds in Portugal, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Italy.

The results made ZXMOTO the first Chinese motorcycle brand to win in the WorldSSP category, challenging the long-standing dominance of European, U.S., and Japanese manufacturers in high-performance motorcycle racing.

Founder Zhang Xue, a former motorcycle racer, began as an apprentice in a rural repair shop at the age of 14 before moving into the motorcycle industry. His grassroots background and racing experience have helped shape ZXMOTO’s performance-focused image as the brand expands overseas.
