Chongqing — The "China, An Opportunity: Chongqing Brands" promotional event was held in Kuala Lumpur on the afternoon of July 30, showcasing Chongqing’s natural scenery, cultural resources, and development opportunities to Malaysian audiences.
During the "Scenic Chongqing" brand presentation, a cultural and tourism representative introduced local guests to the municipality's distinctive landscapes and tourism resources. The presentation highlighted Chongqing’s combination of dramatic natural scenery, cultural heritage and modern urban life.
A photo exhibition at the event offered visitors a broader view of the city through 11 themed sections. The exhibition showcased Chongqing’s natural landscapes, urban lifestyle, industrial development and growing international engagement. Guests viewed the displays, exchanged ideas and discussed the aspects of Chongqing that interested them most.
Huang Meiyuan, Executive Director of the Center for Advanced Studies and Research Malaysia, said the event deepened her understanding of Chongqing and its potential for cooperation with Malaysia. “What has been shared by the delegates, speakers and panelists from Chongqing has given me a broader view of Chongqing and its potential,” Huang said.
With international transport links expanding, entry policies becoming more convenient, and tourism services continuing to improve, Chongqing is seeking to attract more visitors from Malaysia to experience its natural beauty, cultural diversity, and urban vitality.
