Chongqing - Chongqing has recently released two aviation industry lists for partners in Singapore and other ASEAN countries: 30 projects seeking investment and 45 local products and services looking for overseas markets.

The opportunities were released on September 28 by the Chongqing Municipal Development and Reform Commission under the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity, with projects covering sectors like aviation manufacturing, maintenance, logistics, low-altitude applications, tourism and training.

The newly released lists include both investment opportunities and available products and services, providing a clearer roadmap for companies looking to participate in Chongqing's aviation industry. 

The demand list highlights 30 investment projects with a combined planned investment of about 5.87 billion yuan (about 823 million U.S. dollars). The projects were selected from aviation-related development plans, ongoing projects, and investment needs across Chongqing to attract international capital, technologies, and industrial resources.

The supply list features 45 products and services from leading aviation-related companies in Chongqing, covering areas including aircraft manufacturing, maintenance, logistics, low-altitude economy applications, and aviation-related tourism. The list is designed to help local companies expand overseas by connecting their technologies and services with markets in Singapore and other ASEAN countries.

A representative from the Chongqing Municipal Development and Reform Commission said the two lists provide overseas partners with a clearer understanding of both what the city needs and what its companies can offer, creating a more efficient platform for cooperation.

Chongqing and Singapore will use the lists to carry out targeted investment promotion, match business needs with available resources, and accelerate the implementation of promising projects, further strengthening aviation cooperation between Chongqing, Singapore, and ASEAN countries.
