At 8:44, March 10 (local time), Ethiopian Airlines flight ET302 crashed six minutes after takeoff from Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. This crash killed all of the people on board, including eight Chinese citizens.
To coordinate the medical support for the family members of victims, the team convened a meeting of the Party branch in time for arrangements. With the consent of the embassy, the team went to Grand Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa where the families lived.
Informed of the distressing news, family members were so grieved that some of them fainted several times. Some even had altitude sicknesses such as severe insomnia and headache, as well as diseases like hypertension and cardiac arrhythmia. Therefore, the team provided them with careful treatment and psychological counseling.
There are still some families of the Chinese victims waiting for the further results of the crash. The team members will take shifts for 24 hours, to ensure they can obtain the necessary medical security and services anytime.
