Fengdu Temple Fair

Duration: April 5 to 10

This session of Fengdu Temple Fair will highlight the traditions and scenery of Fengdu, a well-known historical and cultural city. It will reflect the charms of Fengdu with fresh water, lush mountains, abundant products, and profound culture deposits.

During 16:00-18:00 from April 5 to 10, visitors will see the unique parade of the Wedding of Emperor of the Underworld. The procession will walk across the roundabout before the Light Grand Hotel, and along Pingdu Avenue, Longhexin Bridge, and Jinke route.

Besides, Wuqiao acrobatics will kick off at the ancient resident buildings of Xiaoguan Mountain. The visual experience will be exciting and breath-taking.

Shuanggui Mountain, a state-level forest park, will open grandly. On the opening day, the visitors will enjoy the intangible cultural heritage exhibition and show, the interaction of imperial examinations, lyre-playing, chess, calligraphy and painting, and other ancient entertainment activities on Shuanggui Mountain. After the temple fair, this scenic area will open normally.

Fairy Mountain International Kite Festival

Duration: March 23 to May 26

Thanks to the unique geographical environment, the Fairy Mountain provides ideal places for flying kites. If you are busy working every day, how about seizing this opportunity to fly a kite with your children? The kites you flew may bring back their dreams of childhood.

The colorful spring in Chongqing Garden Expo Park

Duration: March 8 to May 1

From the early of March to mid-April, over 4,000 plants of oriental cherries along the 1.5-kilometer-long Cherry Blossom Avenue in Huicui Park have come out. The beautiful scenery has made this place a must-check-in site on people’s journey to Expo Park. Visitors will enjoy the romantic atmosphere in the falling petals, which are flying around like snowflakes.

In addition to various spring flowers for visitors to appreciate, the Expo Park has combined its featured sceneries to introduce the barrier-pass game themed by “Enjoy the Spring”. Besides, the activity of “Pursuit of Spring” invites visitors to take photos with beautiful sceneries in the Expo Park.  The “Dance in Spring” is a dance performance. These seven themed activities have added to the lively atmosphere of this park.

The “Welcoming Guests in the Golden Era”, “Dance in Hanfu”, “Dance of the Minority Group”, and “Hot Song in Spring” and other themed programs performed by the Park staff will also kick off in the rock concert at the weekend.

Animation Festival of Chongqing Happy Valley

Duration: April 5 to May 4

Today, the Nijigen Animation Festival of Chongqing Happy Valley will start officially. From the Qingming Festival to the Labour Day (April 5-May 4), the IPs of four popular animations will be exhibited in Chongqing Happy Valley.

During the activity, young people will see their favorite animation IPs there. The first special exhibition of the amusement park will open a fantastic journey to a brand-new Nijigen world.

Besides, more than a hundred of top entertainment projects in the six themed areas of Chongqing Happy Valley have now opened completely. With one ticket, visitors will have fun in the Roller Coaster, Merry-Go-Round, Eye of Chongqing, Flume Rides, Big Pendulum Ride, etc. You will feel excited and red-blooded after experiencing them.

Animal Olympics at Locajoy Theme Park

Duration: April 5 to June 9

The Sixth Animal Olympics was unveiled on April at Chongqing Locajoy Theme Park. Since its opening, Locajoy Theme Park has successfully held the Animal Olympics for consecutive five sessions. This grand sports event for animals will not end until June 9.

In addition to the traditional opening ceremony and grand parade, this year’s Animal Olympics has further added such items as black bears’ gymnastics exercising, parrots’ roll skating, sea lions’ frisbee catching, border collies’ speed racing, piglets’ funny racing, and macaques’ stilt walking. The boutique walking area of the Wildlife World also marked out some venues to demonstrate the various skills of animals, presenting a wonderful expo of animal behaviors to visitors.

During the Animal Olympics, all the visitors to Locajoy can not only watch lively and active wild animals, but also experience the amusement equipment in the theme park, for example, the adventurous and thrilling 10 Inversion Roller Coaster, Invincible Tornado-type Tower, Golden Voyage of Sinbad, and Bungee Jumping; the high-tech Light and Shadow Magic Park; the frigid and artistic Inuit Snow and Ice World .
