At 19:00 on June 1, the quarter-final of 2019 China ·Miss Chongqing Contest themed on Native Custom, and Gorgeous Tongliang inaugurated grandly on Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, Yuzhong District. Fifty contestants staged the dance and song performances, and stroke poses in the fashion show, adding to the beauty of Chongqing.

Since its first session in 2009, Miss Chongqing Contest has been the top beauty contest in Western China. This session is co-sponsored by People’s Government of Tongliang District and Chongqing Daily News Group, co-held by Tongliang District Commission of Culture and Tourism Development , Chongqing City Media Group, and Chongqing Xuantianhu Tourism Investment and Development Co., Ltd,  and implemented by Newoo Media Group, Tourism Development Center of Chongqing Daily News Group, and RCBL marketing institutions.

The semi-final and final of Miss Chongqing Contest will be held on June 22 and July 6

On the site, the charming contestants performed a jazz dance, a song and dance show in cheongsam (the traditional Chinese dresses, also known as qípáo) together, and their competition in the three projects of Creative Costume, Artistic Talent, and Swimsuit Show was also intense and yet eye-catching.

The semi-final and final will be held on June 22 and July 6 respectively, and the champion will win the bonus of RMB 50,000 and become the image spokesperson for tourism in Tongliang District, the so-called hometown of Chinese dragons.
