Chongqing Zhongjiang Boats Co., Ltd. began construction of the No. 3 China Goodness Cruise Ship for Chongqing Damei Changjiang Three Gorges Cruise Co, Ltd. on the morning of June 25, 2019. The ship is expected to be put into service in April 2021. Featuring a capacity of 650 passengers, seven decks and nine types of rooms, it is the most deluxe and largest cruise ship in the Three Gorges region.

No. 3 China Goodness is 149.99 m long and 23.2 m wide and weighs 15,000 tons. It is the first ship powered by three propellers, three blades and three rudders.

More than that, it is also the first ship in the Three Gorges region that enjoys different functional zones.

The ship is divided into Rooms Zone (bow) and Entertainment Zone (stern). Low-noise cushioning technology is widely used, and walking loop tracks can be found within the ship. An over 1,300-square-meter viewing platform stands on the top deck with a creative crack-type glass skywalk, to better serve tourists.

No.3 China Goodness is entirely covered with wifi signal and all-purpose card system. It relies on current big data technology to achieve intelligent information management. Tourists only need one card to enjoy varied services via different equipment, since their personal information is in the system once they board.

Security on the No. 3 China Goodness follows the latest regulations on the 5th generation cruise ships and maritime classification societies. For example, all rooms are set with fingerprint locks, which are expected to be changed to facial recognition ones.
