At the conference, representatives from both countries closed the second batch of deals on seven industrial cooperation demonstration projects and two educational training projects, focusing on intelligent manufacturing, digital transformation, green manufacturing, etc. Among them, Chongqing Vocational Institute of Safety & Technology (formerly Chongqing Wanzhou Vocational Education Center) and Schneider Electric reached a project cooperation plan on vocational education development.
Chongqing has kept in close economic and trade contact with France. Currently, 41 French enterprises including Lafarge, Suez Group and Schneider Electric, involving sectors such as chemical engineering, material, and finance, have settled in the city. Chongqing has also achieved a win-win outcome with complementary advantages by exporting portable ADPE and tablet PCs to France and importing equipment parts from the country.
