The Smart China Expo (SCE) which has captured the world's attention, is permanently located in Chongqing. Many Fortune Global 500 companies will attend the 2019 SCE.
The Fortune Global 500 is an annual ranking of the top 500 corporations worldwide as measured by revenue, and the list is compiled and published annually by Fortune magazine. As for a region, the arrival of Fortune Global 500 companies has a profound impact on local economic and social development.
A variety of Fortune Global 500 companies exhibited their intelligent products and services during August 19 to August 22, when executives of Fortune Global 500 companies presented at the 2019 SCE as important guests, leading the discussion in Chongqing.
On June 11, Chongqing held the first press conference for the 2nd SCE and announced that Lei Jun, President of Xiaomi Corporation, would present at the 2nd SCE as a distinguished guest.
This year, Xiaomi Corporation has made the Fortune Global 500 list of companies for the first time. Chongqing signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Xiaomi Corporation in April last year to carry out a series of cooperation in the big data intelligence industry.
Many executives of Fortune Global 500 companies will be present at the 2019 SCE as distinguished guests. The gold star list includes Chey Tae-won, chairman of SK Group, Frank Meng, Chairman of Qualcomm China, Satoshi Maekawa, General Manager of Toyota China Division, Chen Anning, Vice President of Ford China, Jack Ma, Chairman of the Board of Alibaba Group, Pony Ma, Chairman of Tencent, among others.

As of press time, Fortune Global 500 companies, including Qualcomm, Sony, Kawasaki, Intel, Schneider, Mitsubishi Electric, SK Hynix, Huawei, Ali, and Zhongxing, would attend the 2019 SCE.
Besides, Intel will work together with the organizing committee of SCE to hold 2019 International Competition for Intelligent Innovations, one of the main events at this year's SCE. This event is attracting over 400 teams from over 11 countries and regions to take part.
In January this year, Chongqing Alibaba Smart Center officially settled in the Service Trade Industrial Park in Liangjiang New Area.
the headquarters of Tencent in Southwest China has been completed in the Internet Industrial Park
Within less than a year, Alibaba's management teams such as Aliyun, B2B, Cainiao and the Customer Experience Business Division of Alibaba Group have officially settled in this park. In another section of Liangjiang New Area, the construction of the headquarters of Tencent in Southwest China has been completed in the Internet Industrial Park. This headquarters building is expected to be in use within this month. In the future, Tencent will rely on its headquarters in Southwest China, Western Cloud Computing Center, and other institutions to implement more iconic and leading projects playing a driving role. This is expected to boost Chongqing's innovative development of big data intelligence.
Huawei also carries out the industrial layout of big data intelligence in Chongqing. On August 8, Fuling Huawei Big Data Cloud Computing Center was officially put into operation as a critical node of Huawei's nationwide layout.
Currently, Fuling Huawei Big Data Cloud Computing Center has migrated over 70 business items of more than 40 enterprises, government departments, and public institutions in Fuling District to the cloud based on Huawei's cloud digital platform. In the future, Fuling Huawei Big Data Cloud Computing Center will build itself into a demonstration base of the cloud computing industry with significant influence in Southwest China.
Numerous foreign Fortune Global 500 enterprises have also conducted the layout of big data intelligence in Chongqing.
On May 28, Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. signed an investment agreement with Chongqing in terms of the Kawasaki Six-axe Robot Manufacturing & Integration Project. This marks that the two parties have entered a new stage of cooperation in robotics and industrial automation.
On July 26, AT & S announced the cooperation with Chongqing to build a new factory for producing high-end semiconductor package substrate used in high-performance computing modules.
In the third quarter of this year, the SK Hynix Chongqing Chip Packaging Project Phase II will be officially put into use, on which occasion SK Hynix Semiconductor (Chongqing) Ltd. will become the most significant packaging and testing base among all overseas branches of SK Hynix.
As of now, Chongqing has been the home of more than 3,000 enterprises engaging in Big Data Intelligence like AT & S, SK Holdings, and Kawasaki. In 2018, the intelligence industry of Chongqing achieved a sales revenue exceeding 460 billion RMB, registering a growth surpassing 10%.
