The 2019 Chongqing Cultural Tourism Week kicked off at the Bartz Concert Hall in Barcelona, Spain on the evening of September 16. The Chongqing Quyi, the Chongqing National Orchestra Troupe, the Chongqing Peking Opera Troupe, the Chongqing Acrobatic Art Troupe and some intangible cultural heritage inheritors of Chongqing highlighted extraordinary Chongqing culture, enjoying great popularity among the local audience in Spain.

It incorporated a series of activities such as cultural performances, intangible cultural heritage exhibitions of calligraphy and paintings, and Chongqing picture exhibitions

The event was hosted by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, and co-organized by Chongqing Performance Arts Group and Chongqing Performance Co., Ltd. It incorporated a series of activities such as cultural performances, intangible cultural heritage exhibitions of calligraphy and paintings, and Chongqing picture exhibitions, demonstrating the exclusive style of Chongqing, “A Land of Natural Beauty, A City with Cultural Appeal”.

The event will last until September 21, with two performances in Barcelona followed by three in Madrid, capital of Spain.
