Many groups, including Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, Chongqing Performing Arts Group, Chongqing Performance Company, China Telecom, Chongqing Branch, Chongqing Hutou Sports Culture Industry, Tongfang, and Chongqing Xiuyan Sports Culture Industry attended the press conference.

The innovation to be expanded in Tourism +

This event will use the world's e-sports game, League of Legends (LoL), as the platform. Each side will select a team and gather in Chongqing for the match. The e-sports competition is expected to help to promote CQ's tourism image and cross-border exchanges in the fields of commerce, tourism, and culture.

In this event, the innovation will be expanded in the “Tourism +” mode. The organizers will use “Tourism + E-sports” as a link to work with more commercial companies to “Culture + Tourism” and “Culture & Tourism + Internet”, " Culture & Tourism + Retail", " Culture & Tourism + Sports" and other modes are integrated to explore new ways of traveling around Chongqing.

The official birth of the local brand – Chongqing E-Sports

The 2019 New International E-sports Carnival will create a new model for business operations and cross-border cooperation, combining cultural tourism creative shows, Internet innovations, and new consumer business promotion. Meanwhile, the first Chongqing E-sports Contest, as a part of the amateur trials covering all of Chongqing, has comprehensive coverage, high participation, and significant influence. It has built a new platform for many e-sports enthusiasts and fan groups to exchange ideas.

Chongqing E-Sports will be the local hub of e-sports culture, follow the trends of the e-sports industry, and guide young people's habits in Chongqing. At the same time, the solidarity, collaboration, and challenges found in e-sports competitions have expanded the horizons of young people and encouraged them to improve their lives and meet new challenges.

The sign-up channel of Chongqing has opened

In conjunction with the theme of the event and related arrangements, the 2019 New International E-sports Carnival will be held at the Chongqing Guotai Art Center on November 17 this year.

To conduct 2019 New International E-sports Carnival, the first Chongqing E-sports Contest will begin the city's mass-election on October 20. Three levels are divided, as Heroes’ Selection, Heroes’ Match, and Heroes’ Peak, of which Heroes’ Peak is the stage for the direct competition between the champions and runners-up in Chongqing Division and Singapore, as the critical part of the e-sports carnival.
