The 2019 PWT China Tour 2019 (Chongqing), a world-class orienteering event, commenced in Chongqing Industrial Culture Expo Park, Dadukou District On November 2. Nearly 200 professional orienteers, including about 50 elite athletes from 30 countries, including Australia, France, Germany, Russia, Sweden, and the UK, competed against each other.

Competition groups included International Men Elites, International Women Elites, Domestic Men Elites, Domestic Women Elites, and Domestic Experience Group. Riccardo Scalet (ITA) took the victory in the International Men Elites. Tereza Janosikova (CZE) claimed the first position in the International Women Elites. Winners of Domestic Men Elites and Domestic Women Elites were Zhou Hongcheng and Yang Xueqin, respectively.

The game attracted 50 elite athletes from 30 countries, including Australia, France, Germany, Russia, Sweden, and the UK.

“I am used to running in forests and parks. But today’s terrain is complicated with many alleys, requiring athletes to search and try continuously. Only the ones with great physical stamina and spatial thinking can win the race,” said Ye Qi from Shenzhen University, who won the third place in China Orienteering Open held last year.
