The 3rd Conference of the CICA Non-Governmental Forum is held in Chongqing from Dec. 18 - 20. during this forum, Dr. Karunasena Kodituwakku, Sri Lankan Ambassador to China, accepted interview, and indicated that Chongqing is a logistics center and important industrial site in China.

In his interview, he suggest that Sri Lanka will learn from the cooperation like China (Chongqing) - Singapore Demonstrative Project as the partnership and develop with China together. He emphasized that Sri Lanka is one of the earliest countries to join the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as it on the old silk road, which has good relationship with China historically.

For CICA forum, Sri Lanka was officially became member of CICA last year, but it aims to build Asia`s future altogether. Sri Lanka is on the center of Indian Ocean, Dr. Karunasena Kodituwakku said, all Asian countries share the Indian ocean for transportation, Sri Lanka hopes to became the logistic hub and plan for a better future development that will also bring a win-win situation.

According to Dr. Karunasena Kodituwakku, tourists can experience all kinds of weather in one day in Sri Lanka, he welcome more tourists come to Sri Lanka for visits and see their culture and natural features.
