Budapest, capital of Hungary, is a major political, commercial, and transportation center and the biggest city of the country. Hungary set up its consulate general in Chongqing in 2010. The route to Budapest is the 6th direct route from Chongqing to Europe. The opening of the route will further the cultural exchange and economic and trade cooperation between Chongqing and Hungary and facilitate the travel of Chongqing citizens to Europe.

Okinawa, located between Kyushu Island, Japan, and Taiwan, China, is an administrative region under the Kyushu of Japan. Okinawa Prefecture features a unique natural environment, folk buildings of Southeast Asia, China, and Japan styles as well as America style buildings with Japan characteristics. The prefecture experiences a warm and pleasant subtropical oceanic climate. Tourism is the most flourishing industry there. The route between Chongqing and Okinawa will facilitate the visit of Chongqing citizens to Japan.

Luang Prabang is a noted ancient capital, Buddhism center, and a city of strategic importance in Northern Laos; Vientiane is the capital and biggest city of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.
