China Railway Express (Chongqing) ranked first China in 2019 in two key figures, one for 1,500-odd converted loaded container trains and the other for the value of goods exceeding RMB 50 billion.

The concept of the “converted loaded container train,” which appears for the first time among the figures of CRE Chongqing, refers to the number of trains converted per 41 loaded containers, excluding empty ones.

The Quality Index Evaluation System of China Railway Express issued by the Transport Coordination Committee of China Railway Express in last April specifies the calculation formula, which is a significant index to show the supply support capacity and the scale of operation of CRE Chongqing.

“We adopt this formula from last January,” said Qi Dan, General Manager of YUXINOU (Chongqing) Logistics Co., Ltd. This formula applies to calculate the number of domestic CRE trains, which will be published by China Railway Container Transport Corp. Ltd.

This new formula can avoid false data. Over 60 domestic cities have opened CRE trains since the opening of CRE Chongqing. The calculation, according to the number of boxes, includes the situation of empty container transport, which could be terrible for the long-term development of CRE.

The new formula can show the actual operation of CRE trains directly, facilitate the allocation and planning of recourses of CRE trains at the national level and provide more accurate data reference, thus contributing to the high-quality development of CRE.

CRE Chongqing outperformed its counterparts by the first ranking in two key figures. In 2019, it also saw a significant increase in the comprehensive ratio of loaded containers, reaching 94%, up by 24%. The increase in the number of the converted loaded container train and that of loaded containers was 48.7% or so.

“CRE Chongqing focuses on its high-quality development from 2018,” said Qi Dan. CRE Chongqing has been continually taking innovative moves and expanding itself to make breakthroughs, thus accumulating much experience and receiving praise from clients and markets. On top of that, Chongqing is improving the implementation opinions on the high-quality development of CRE Chongqing.
