Chongqing will establish a 5G digital cultural tourism industrial park, and combine industrial advantages, to foster new drivers in the 5G era, according to the Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development. In addition, Chongqing plans to launch the construction project this year.

Thanks to the emerging 5G technology, digital travel products, mobile animated videos, cloud gaming, and smart tourism, such cultural tourism industries have ushered in new progress in virtual reality and product visualization.

To seize development opportunities, Chongqing will assemble resources to build an industrial park. Led by Chongqing Branch of China Merchants Shekou Industrial Zone Holdings Co., Ltd., the park will finish the preliminary framework plan for the establishment, operation, interest distribution, and investment attraction by the end of this month. Beibei District Commission of Culture and Tourism Development and the investment promotion company of Chongqing High-tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee are responsible for screening the relevant inventory or vacant properties in their area for operators. Chongqing Unicom provides technological support for the establishment and makes a preliminary scheme, and Chongqing Publishing Group is the supplier of product contents.
