Chongqing's Nanchuan District and the Dujiangyan City of Sichuan Province jointly signed the strategic cooperation agreement between Jinfo Mountain and Qingcheng Mountain – Dujiangyan on May 8. According to the agreement, the two sides will work together to promote the in-depth cooperation between the two quality scenic spots in Sichuan and Chongqing, and jointly create the polarization and core effect of Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.

Dujiangyan City is famous for the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, a world-famous water conservancy project, and Qingcheng Mountain, the birthplace of Taoism in China. It is one of the few county-level cities in the world with natural heritage, cultural heritage, and irrigation project heritage. There are 21 national tourism resources represented by three world heritage sites, one national 5A tourist attraction, and one national tourist resort. It has ever won such honorable titles as "the national historical and cultural city," "the national tourism demonstration zone," and "the famous tourism county in Sichuan."

According to the agreement, the two scenic spots will establish a cooperation mechanism of high-quality scenic spots, to achieve a good development pattern of "resource sharing, complementary advantages, market interaction, marketing interconnection, and common development." The two sides will carry out strategic cooperation in marketing, deepen market interconnection, realize mutual advertising and publicity, jointly launch brand festivals and events, promote interconnected tourism route, realize information sharing, and jointly create high-quality tourism route products. At the same time, the two sides will strengthen institutional cooperation, and establish mechanisms for cooperation in tourism product development, data and information sharing, and personnel cooperation and exchanges, so as to create an optimal environment to improve tourism management services and promote the common development of scenic spots.

In the context of comprehensive cooperation between Sichuan and Chongqing, Nanchuan is striving to press ahead of a series of specific exchanges and cooperation, including the collaboration with Wulong, Dujiangyan and Mount Emei to promote the establishment of a tourism alliance among the four regions, and quality tour routes in Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle. It has also invited experts from Sichuan and Chongqing to hold seminars on the whole health industry, and cooperated with Sichuan Comprehensive Health Industry Association, advanced Sichuan-Chongqing cooperation at a faster pace, and has taken a solid step in the construction of Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.
