The project is planned to invest 500 million yuan, covering an area of 300 mu and a construction area of 430 thousand square meters. After completion, it will accommodate 3,000 stores.

Project director Chen Xiaobo said that the International Food Distribution Center would be engaged in commodity display, headquarters settlement, online business platform, cross-border trade, and other businesses based on the Western Cold Chain Logistics Park. After completion and operation, the source of goods will be expanded from China to dozens of countries around the world. It is estimated that 30% of the food distributed here will come from overseas. Its direct coverage radius will also reach 400 kilometers, including the whole Chongqing and surrounding Enshi, Dazhou, Guangyuan, and other places, radiating the entire western region.

"When the International Food Distribution Center is completed and put into operation, it will fully apply the management system of the intelligent logistics park." According to Chen Xiaobo, through the intelligent logistics management system, all information of merchants will be sent to the platform and subject to online management during the whole process from entering. It is estimated that the application of the intelligent logistics management system will reduce the scale of human resources in the park by 30%, significantly reducing costs and improving efficiency.
