Sleepless in Chongqing! Night Market Map for Night Owls

Night markets are the best way to get to know a city. It works for Chongqing, a city without darkness. The diverse nightlife vitalizes and adds beauty to it. On July 29, Chongqing Geographic Information Center released the Chongqing Night Market Map, which tells everything about the hustle and bustle of the city. 

The night market culture festival in Chongqing this year will be upgraded to the 2020 Night Life Festival of Chongqing to promote and release the spending power and escalate the night economy. It will be held simultaneously in several districts and counties of the city from July to October, with more than 150 events as suited to local features.

Jiaochangkou Night Market, one of the most famous food streets, is located at the intersection of Bayi Road and Zhonghua Road in Yuzhong District. There are various kinds of food such as freshly fried crispy pork, spicy skewers, cold skewers, and fruit platter, a paradise for foodies indeed.

Majiawan Night Market, located in Bachuan Street, is the origin of great food in Tongliang. Charpati, skewers, fried squid, barbecue, and youcha (a rice gruel) decorate the night street. Fragrance emanates from stalls and attracts the crowd. The stalls become properly arranged after the rectification of the Majiawan Night Market. Visitors line up in order before the stalls. The street is thus clear of traffic for passers-by and the food safety guaranteed.
