Can't you find a proper place in Yubei District to do exercise under the scorching sun? You may try the Yubei National Fitness Center, after leaving the Chongqing Central Park. This is where you can swim, jog, cycle, or play basketball, badminton, and table tennis. You can also have a good time with your kids there.

The new landmark of Yubei District sits on the west of Chongqing Central Park. Covering about 494,000 m2, it houses three indoor spaces, namely a natatorium, a martial art center, and a public fitness center. Twenty-nine outdoor spaces comprise a standard track-and-field ground with the 400 m standard track, football pitches, and a children's park. There are also nearly 2,000 parking spots.

One temperature-controlled standard swimming pool occupies an area of 1,250 m2 (50 m * 25 m) and has ten lanes with an adequate depth of 2 m or 1.2 m excluding the pad. It is the largest one of its kind in Yubei District.

Tips

Free open days: Wednesdays, the first Sunday and third Saturday of each month, and August 8 of each year. People can play table tennis, basketball, badminton, etc. between 8:00 and 22:00 on such days for free. Outdoor sports grounds, except tennis courts and football pitches, are free all year round.
