The Return to the Three Gorges, a large-scale poetry culture performance, directed by the famous Chinese director Zhang Yimou and invested by Impression Wonders, has been restaged on August 8 in Baidicheng·Qutang Gorge scenic area, Fengjie County, Chongqing, which is reputed to be "the poetry city of China."  On the night of March 28, 2019, the show was officially staged in Qutang Gorge. However, on November 25, 2019, as it was getting cold in winter, the organizer decided to suspend the show to ensure the best viewing environment and viewing effect.

The stage, lighting, visual arts, and a series of facilities and equipment have been improved, making the show even better.
