On Nov 4th, guests participating in the 6th Chinese Poetry Festival, and poets and scholars from Chongqing and Sichuan cruised on the Yangtze River and Jialing River to enjoy the fascinating night view of Chongqing, which launched the first activity among a series of activities held in Chongqing for the closing ceremony of the 6th Chinese Poetry Festival.

A saying goes like this " You never visit Chongqing if you don't see its night view. " The night view of the mountain city has become popular since the Qing Dynasty. At that time, Wang Erjian, the magistrate of Ba County, listed the mountain city's night view among Bayu Twelve Scenic Spots. "Two-River Cruise" becomes Chongqing's name card by combining its mountains and rivers with the well-known night view, which allows visitors to directly experience the glamour of Chongqing closely by displaying a three-dimensional city movingly and comprehensively.

To celebrate the 6th Chinese Poetry Festival and create a poetic atmosphere, recently, Chongqing Children's Library organized a poetic lecture for children; more activities related to poetry will be held in the Culture and Art Center of Jiulongpo District, Chongqing Library, and Clessence Bookstore of Nanbin Road. The most important activity will be the Closing Ceremony of the 6th Chinese Poetry Festival held on Nov 7th at Danzishi Square in Nan'an District.

Exchanging and sightseeing activities are set to hold from Nov 5th to 7th to bring Chongqing's profound culture to poets, scholars, and artists who participate in the 6th Chinese Poetry Festival. Meanwhile, a series of poetry-related cultural activities and sightseeing will be held in Jiangjin District, Fengjie County, Beibei District, and Nan'an District to expedite the construction of Bashu Culture and Tourism Corridor.
