On November 9, the 2020 Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture Culture-Oriented Travel Recommendation Meeting was held in Chongqing with the theme of "Colorful Liangshan, Hometown of Yi People in China." The culture and tourism department of Liangshan Prefecture in Sichuan Province recommended seven tourist routes to citizens in Chongqing and invited them to drink a cup of tea, enjoy the warm sunshine in winter and listen to their favorite operas by Qionghai Lake.

Daliang Mountains

At the meeting, Xiao Chun, Deputy Governor of the People's Government of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, promoted seven tourist routes under special themes, including "Attractive Landscape," "Rich Ethnic Customs," "China's Space City," "Red Tourist Attractions," "Sunshine Healthcare Destination," "City of Featured Delicacies," and "Convenient Traffic Construction." He also sincerely invited citizens of Chongqing for a warm winter trip to Liangshan. Besides, Xichang, Huili, Mianning, Ningnan, and Dechang also introduced their own tourist routes.

Luoji Mountain

At present, the Daliangshan International Theatre Festival is put on the stage in Xichang. As the only theater festival in western China and the world's only theater festival in winter, it has become a famous symbol of the cultural tourism of the Daliang Mountains.

Chongqing is an important tourist source of Liangshan, also known for scenic spots like Lugu Lake and Luoji Mountain. Now, there are direct flights between Chongqing and Liangshan, enabling convenient traffic between the two sides.
