Chongqing- On October 9, the First Week of Italian Mechanical Engineering (WIMEC) Roadshow in Chongqing kicked off in Liangjiang New Area. As an important part of the event, the factory tour in Sofima Automotive Filter (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. in Liangjiang New Area welcomed a group of business representatives and guests. Here we have Sofima Filter's COO, Mr. Simone Trazzi with us for an exclusive interview.

Sofima Filter is a leading global manufacturer of filtration systems and thermal management and it settled down in Shanghai in 1996 while Sofima Chongqing is pretty new. “Chongqing is a fantastic hub for automotive and manufacturing,” said Simone Trazzi, the APAC COO at UFI Filters Group. Chongqing is an attractive and targeted market for overseas enterprises. “It’s our strategy to follow this market and also follow the strategic leadership direction of China to go west,” said Simone. During the event, Simone joined iChongqing to introduce Sofima Chongqing and discuss Chongqing’s market and the further plan of Sofima Chongqing.
