Chongqing- During the Three Gorges Cultural Tourism Exchange Event organized by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, diplomatic representatives from consulates in Chongqing, Chengdu, and Kunming toured famous attractions along the Yangtze River on the cruise ship Yangtze Gold 6.

The trip culminated with the opening ceremony of the 14th Chongqing Yangtze International Red Leaf Festival in Wushan, followed by a live stage performance of Goddess Mountain.

During the two-day stay in Wushan, local tour guide George Zhao personally accompanied the party of diplomats, businessmen, and media representatives on their experience of the Lesser Three Gorges and Goddess Mountain, where he shared his personal and informative insights on local history, development, and points of interest.

Once an English teacher for many years, he decided to become a tourist guide as he saw the growing numbers of foreign visitors to his native Wushan to share his passion and knowledge of his home city.

Near Goddess Peak overlooking Wu Gorge, he spared a few moments to share his thoughts on the development of Wushan and the cultural tourism resources the city has to offer.
