On March 1, Dazu District held a signing ceremony for investment promotion projects in the first quarter of 2021. The contracts of 54 projects were signed with a total investment of 36.7 billion yuan, covering new energy electric vehicles, prefabricated buildings, modern hardware, smart home, and other fields.

There are two, 49 and three projects of the primary, secondary and tertiary industry, with a formal contract amount of 350 million, 30,155 million, and 6.2 billion yuan, respectively. The district plans to invest one billion yuan in the Jinjian Electric Motorcycle Industrial Park project, with an annual output of 1.5 million electric motorcycles, ordinary motorcycles, tricycles, electric mopeds, and electric bicycles.

Deputy District Mayor Zhang Guixian introduced that in October 2020, TAILG Technology Development Co., Ltd., a leading electric vehicle enterprise, signed an investment contract with the People's Government of Dazu District. Thus, an industrial park project was launched in Dazu High-tech Zone, with an investment of two billion yuan and an annual output of 2.5 million new energy electric vehicles.

At present, Dazu has formed a cluster of the automobile and motorcycle industry, with an annual output of 20,000 special vehicles and 1.7 million motorcycles. The cluster has gathered more than ten vehicle manufacturers of motorcycles and many domestically well-known manufacturers of automobile and motorcycle parts. What's more, Chongqing Shuangqiao Economic and Technology Development Zone has built the first domestic large-scale comprehensive test base for connected automated vehicles.
