The acrobatic drama Embroidered Shoes, created by the Chongqing Acrobatic Art Troupe, got its first tryout in the Chongqing International Circus City at 2 p.m. on June 15. As an excellent stage play that has emerged during the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the learning of the party's history, the performance was manifested the charm of acrobatic art to the fullest extent. The 1,500 or so audiences broke into thunderous applause as they watched the brilliant plot unfold during the superb performance.

The acrobatic drama Embroidered Shoes is based on a novel and a movie script of the same name. It tells the story of wise, brave member of the CPC in the form of acrobatic art. The drama, employing the unique form of acrobatic art, tells the story of a group of public security officers who thwarted the attempt to destroy Chongqing in the early days of the post-liberation period.

The Chongqing Acrobatic Art Troupe introduced bold innovations into the drama, a radical departure from traditional acrobatic performance, a blending of modern drama elements and montage methods, and a huge effort to create a mysterious story setting. While playing to the unique physical advantages of acrobats, the choreography involves using a series of stage effects to deliver an out-of-the-ordinary viewer experience.
