Online and offline, the 2021 Smart China Expo will be held from August 23 to 25 at Chongqing International Expo Center, Liangjiang New Area.

Since 2018, this Chongqing-based annual event has served as an important platform to exhibit cutting-edge technologies and promote international cooperation in the smart industry.

The 2021 session themes on “Smart Technology: Empowering Economy, Enriching Life” feature six forums, five contests, and more than 100 launch events.

Exhibitors are from 31 countries and regions. More than 610 companies and 133 guests, including global industry leaders, award-winning scientists, prominent experts, and scholars, are expected to participate.

Online events will be accessed via the Smart China Expo official website and focus on experience and scenarios of near-future life empowered by technologies. The offline exhibition area will cover 70,000 square meters and exclusively open to guests invited.

Events including signing ceremonies will be held to enhance the cooperation between countries along the “Belt and Road,” relevant international organizations, sister cities, and leading companies, and to promote the development of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.

During the session, Liangjiang New area will launch a series of technology achievements, including an exhibition of “A Panorama of Rivers and Mountains,” a landscape painting from the Song Dynasty revived by digital technology. The exhibition will last one year and present the audience with an immersive and interactive experience with Chinese art.
